Glazed stoneware mugs with stripes and deisgns, made primarily with handpainted dipglazes, underglaze pencil and underglaze.
I pour in the glaze for the inside of the ceramic mug and tape off the botton of the mug. Then i will dip the outisde or do stripes in two different glazes, and whipe off the handle. then, i will do a couple of layers of brush-on glaze on the handle. Glazing like this is quite an involved process, but also the most exciting. The chemistry of the glazes working together can produce truly magical results and are full of emotion and experience.
